These are just a few of the community organization that GKHS attorneys support:

Geoffrey Gordon-Creed and Jeremy Sugerman are active supporters of the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition, a non-profit grass roots organization dedicated to creating safer streets and more livable communities for all San Francisco. In addition to financial support, GKHS is proud to provide pro bono legal representation to the Bike Coalition on a continuing basis.

Teke Kelley sits on the North Bay board of Summer Search, a non-profit leadership development program committed to providing long-term support for low-income high school students. Teke is also a long-time supporter of Legal Community Against Violence, a public interest law center dedicated to preventing gun violence.

Kevin Holl was appointed to the Treasure Island/Yerba Buena Island Citizen Advisory Board by Mayor Gavin Newsom in 2004, and continues to serve in that capacity. TICAB meets regularly to give advice on both the interim reuse of Treasure Island and Yerba Buena Island as well as the master development planning process.

In 2009, Kevin was appointed to the Executive Committee of the State Bar of California’s Litigation Section, which exists to promote excellence in all areas affecting dispute resolution, including the protection of litigants’ rights, alternative dispute resolution, effective judicial administration, uniform rules of court, and the protection and preservation of the independence of the judiciary.

Jeremy is on the board of directors of the American Safe Climbing Association, a bare-bones nonprofit organization of dedicated rock climbers who replace unsafe anchors and reduce the visual and environmental impact of climbing in National Parks and wilderness areas. The ASCA began its work in Yosemite National Park, three and a half hours outside of San Francisco, and has grown to support volunteer efforts throughout the country with advice and equipment.

Kevin and Geoff teach at the University of San Francisco Law School’s Intensive Advocacy Program, a two-week intensive course focusing on litigation and trial techniques and strategies.

Kevin, a native-born San Franciscan, remains actively involved in alumni activities at his high school, Archbishop Riordan, and at the University of San Francisco School of Law. Kevin is the co-founder, and continues to maintain, the annual Douglas Raskin Scholarship at USF. Kevin and his wife are financial contributors to City Youth Now, a non-profit organization that supports youth in the San Francisco foster care and juvenile justice system.
