Teke Kelley

Teke Kelley is a founding member of Gordon-Creed, Kelley, Holl & Sugerman. His practice focuses on premises liability and real estate litigation, as well the representation of clients in business disputes, employment claims, product liability and construction related matters.

Mr. Kelley is an AV rated attorney who has successfully tried a variety of cases to juries and judges in the Bay Area and Sacramento courts. He has also successfully argued appeals before the California Court of Appeal. Mr. Kelley has significant experience with all forms of alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration. He serves frequently as an arbitrator for the San Francisco Superior Court and as a mediator for the Bar Association of San Francisco.

Before forming Gordon-Creed & Kelley, Mr. Kelley practiced law at the San Francisco office of Carroll, Burdick & McDonough, where he defended complex product liability cases, business disputes and a wide variety of insurance defense matters.
Mr. Kelley serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors of Vista Group Homes for Independence, a non-profit organization which runs homes for developmentally disabled adults. He also acts as a coach and volunteers for youth sports in Marin County. He is married and has three children.

Mr. Kelley was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. He received his B.A. in English literature from the University of Nevada in 1987. He received his J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1990, where he was an editor of the Law Review and served on the Moot Court Board. Mr. Kelley is admitted to practice in the state courts of California, in the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, and Central Districts of California, and in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
