Anne H. Nguyen was admitted to the California Bar in 2003, and has since represented corporate clients in state and federal antitrust investigations in both individual and class actions. She has counseled companies in several high-profile mergers and acquisitions, including two multi-billion dollar transactions, on compliance with premerger notification filing requirements and obtaining clearance from government challenges. Ms. Nguyen also represents clients in construction disputes, premises liability, and employment-related lawsuits. She has been active in volunteering for pro bono cases, and her efforts include drafting excerpts of Preserving Diversity in Higher Education, monitoring voting irregularities for Election Protection, representing tribal members in disputes arising out of the Indian Civil Rights Act, and successfully obtaining asylum for a victim of physical abuse and governmental indifference.
Ms. Nguyen graduated magna cum laude from UCLA with a double major in History and Asian American Studies and received her legal education from the UCLA School of Law. Prior to joining Gordon-Creed, Kelley, Holl & Sugerman, Ms. Nguyen received the Haywood Burns Memorial Fellowship for Social and Economic Justice in 2001 to work with the Asian Law Caucus to provide legal, political, and educational support to the community. Ms. Nguyen was also an associate with Bingham McCutchen LLP in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
