Kati Smith represents individuals and businesses in general business law, labor and employment litigation. She handles all aspects of litigation, including investigations, discovery, law and motion, settlement negotiations, witness depositions, and trial.
Kati’s practice includes litigating breach of contract, fraud, unjust enrichment, wage and hour, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination disputes. Kati provides employer-clients with detailed risk analysis regarding safe employment practices, performance management, and employee handbooks. She also performs transactional services, including business formation and contract drafting and negotiation.
During law school, Kati was awarded CALI Awards in Professional Skills, Transactional, and Criminal Procedure courses. She also earned her intellectual property law certificate.
Kati grew up in Southern California, and currently lives in San Francisco with her husband and dog. She enjoys skiing and snowboarding, listening to live music, and cooking at home with friends and family.
