Katie Curtis’ practice areas include complex tort and commercial litigation. She represents individuals, businesses and government entities in cases throughout California involving catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, defective products, premises liability, breach of contract, insurance bad faith, professional negligence and construction defect.
Ms. Curtis received her Bachelor of Arts in Government from Cornell University in 2004. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco in 2007, and was admitted to the State Bar of California in December of 2007. While at USF, she received the CALI Award for Excellence in Legal Writing, and was a member of Law Review. In 2006, she served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Joe Billy McDade in the United States District Court, Central District of Illinois.
Ms. Curtis is a member of California Minority Counsel Program and the Filipino Bar Association of Northern California, where she served on the board in 2008-2011. She is a Justin-Siena High School alumna and a fifth-generation San Francisco native.
